Doilies, Motif, Bookmark, Butterfly, Ornament and Snowflakes

Kristen has acquired some new thread and begun a large doily, that starts with one tiny little ring. Like all doilies it grows quickly at first, and then it gets bigger. And bigger and unfortunately it seems to want to curl, but a quick bath and it's back to behaving itself.

Nancy saw this motif done by Vinnie on Pinterest and had to try it for herself.

Diane started on Round V of Doily 6 from Tatted Treasures by Jan Stawasz and now she's using her new shuttles from La Cossette, so she's sure she'll have plenty of thread to complete the round.

Fox tatted Frivole’s Quatrain Flowering Bookmark in Anchor, Mercer Crochet #40 thread that Orsi sent to her.

IsDihara has been remembering flower gardens with flitting butterflies which prompted her to tat Farfalla, round 1 using Lizbeth size 20 in #613 Golden Yellow Medium and a blend of lavender/black/yellow threads for antennae.

Marie shows us the gold Christmas ball done in size 20 crochet thread that she gave her in-laws for Christmas. Trying to use up a little size 20 crochet thread on the shuttle, she added a few beads and came up with this lovely snowflake.
