Motifs, Edgings and a Beaded Bag

Anika found a tatted motif that she thought would work nicely to dress up her shoes along with a custom paint job when they were mauled in transit.

Fox made Mary Konior's fragment, from Tatting Patterns in a Flora #20 thread sample that Randa sent her. She pulled out Ruth Perry's book and refreshed her memory on how to tat a Celtic knot. The border she has been working on continues to progress. Fox loves Judi Banashek's pattern because it reminds her of the onion dome shapes she likes. Fox likes the pattern from The Tatter's Treasure Chest but it's a lot of work for a border.

Gina thought the flowers from Plate 1 would look good as an edging on this blouse.

Isa finished the tatted bag in linen thread she was working on. It's her own design with over 600 beads and she plans to take it to her next tatting meeting.
