Tatting Bag, Snowflake, Motifs, Edging, Butterfly and Star

Nancy used the pattern from the book, Contemporary Art of Knotting with a Shuttle by Rhoda L. Auld to make a drawstring tatting bag for a friend. She accidentally added an extra ring on the 2nd round, making the base larger, so it's a nice roomy bag that holds everything your need.
Tatteristic has The Second Day of December snowflake from Lene Bjorn's 24 Snowflakes in Tatting book done. She chose to use a split chain on this one although the pattern didn't call for it, just to get the practice.

IsDihara has started the modified Margaret motif in white and yellow with a green border and it looks lovely and spring like. She's had lots of suggestions of things to try with it and now she's got lots of ideas to work on. She finished the Nelson edging and attached them to some pretty Easter socks for her niece.

Linda is working on another CQ block with a pretty tatted mauve butterfly.

Diane is using her size 20 Lizbeth Juicy Watermelon #156 thread to tat up Gemini from Oh My Stars! by Kaye B. Judt in celebration of the Tatting Forum reaching nearly 500 members. She's thinking she might use the stars to decorate a denim bag, a t-shirt, a scarf, a quilt top or maybe something else. Any ideas?

Fox has found that pictures of designs like this one by Myra Piper that she saw on Wendy's (Umintsuru) blog keep tempting her to try the designs for herself.
